Let the minting begin

On Saturday morning at 9am EST, the first latent poet was born. Just 24 hours later there are over 16,000 latent poets minted. While most whales seem to feel that pages have the most value, thus keeping nearly all of their pages unminted, nearly 25% of pages have already found their poets. It will be very interesting to see the final tally of poets vs pages when the end of the two week minting period occurs, for then the true game will begin and the players will finally understand the value in their poet being able to speak.

Market Pricing

Throughout the weekend we saw prices hovering at 1.5 ETH for pages, while poets sold at a wide range of prices, averaging 1.3 ETH on the floor, while median poets sold for 2-3 ETH consistently. Latent poets originating from Pak's own Origin climbed in price sold from 5 ETH to 39 ETH. Several Origins sold day 1 for 50 ETH each, exhibiting the rarity inherent in them.
